Hey there — I’m Sam, the face behind the camera! I’m a nature-loving, farm-dwelling, cat-cuddling boy mom with a heart for storytelling. Whether I’m fluffing your veil, chasing golden light, or dancing with your grandma, I’m there for every laugh, tear, and in-between moment. I capture love stories that feel like you — raw, joyful, and full of life.
I’m not just your photographer; I’m your hype woman, memory keeper, and honorary third wheel. Tell me a time and place, and I’ll bring the camera (and probably a snack). I am a wedding, portrait, and real estate photographer based in Central Minnesota. I’m drawn to real moments and natural light — the soft glow of golden hour, quiet in-between glances, and the laughter that happens when no one’s posing for the camera.
I’m married to a farmer, and together we’re beginning to build a homestead. Life here moves at a slower pace — filled with gardening, muddy boots, and raising our son. That simplicity shapes how I photograph: honest, calm, and full of heart. More than anything, I want people to feel something when they look at my photos — warmth, nostalgia, and the beauty of real connection.
