About

Hi, I’m a wedding, portrait, and real estate photographer based in Central Minnesota.

This is the part where I’m supposed to say something deep and poetic so you feel emotionally connected before booking me.

But honestly? I just really love the real stuff- natural light, genuine moments, and the kind of laughter that happens when no one’s trying too hard.

I’m married to a farmer and our life currently consists of dirt, plants, and a small human running the show. It’s simple, a little chaotic, and exactly why I care so much about capturing things as they actually are.

If you want perfectly posed, stiff photos… I’m probably not your person.
If you want photos that feel like you - we’ll get along great.

Important Information Before You Book:
  • I will absolutely fix your hair if it’s doing something weird
  • I will hype you up the entire time
  • You will say “this feels awkward” at least once (normal, I promise)
  • 5 minutes later you’ll be like “wait this is actually fun??”
  • Your partner will start off reluctant and end up thriving

Things I will never say during your session:
  • “Be less awkward”
  • “That laugh looked fake, try again”
  • “Let’s make this more stiff and uncomfortable”
Things I will say:
  • “Wait that was so cute, do that again”
  • “Okay stop you guys are actually adorable”
  • “This light?? I’m obsessed”

You’re probably my people if:
  • You care more about moments than perfection
  • You laugh easily (or at least eventually)
  • You want photos that feel like your real life, not a Pinterest board
  • You don’t mind a little chaos

My qualifications:
  • Professional third wheel
  • Can entertain toddlers and camera-shy husbands
  • Expert in “what do I do with my hands” situations
  • Finds good light in questionable places

Real Life Resume

Sipping chartreuse and green tea while looking at the most perfect white subway tile and hand painted signs. Driving through the mountains to Portland reminiscing about the best memories back home. Cozy sweaters, vintage demin, and Pabst while telling one of a kind love stories. The trials and tribulations of love, joy, and happiness. Lastly, champagne brunch and avocado toast while surrounded by the finest exposed brick, dreamcatchers, and maps to our souls. Dreamcatchers, macrame and 100 Days of Summer. Anthropologie trips and walks on the beach, love letters and secret admirers. Fall breeze, flannels, and hot cocoa. Whales and dinosaurs and handmade crafts. Salvage denim, antique leather bags, and the first time we watched Moonrise Kingdom.

The slow hum of traffic and the cool breeze that signify the joy of a new day.
