About

Hey there — I’m Sam, the face behind the camera! I’m a nature-loving, farm-dwelling, cat-cuddling boy mom with a heart for storytelling. Whether I’m fluffing your veil, chasing golden light, or dancing with your grandma, I’m there for every laugh, tear, and in-between moment. I capture love stories that feel like you — raw, joyful, and full of life.

I’m not just your photographer; I’m your hype woman, memory keeper, and honorary third wheel. Tell me a time and place, and I’ll bring the camera (and probably a snack). I call central Minnesota home, but I’ll happily hit the road if it means telling your story. Around here, you’re not just a client… you’re a friend with killer taste in photographers.

I am a wedding, portrait, and real estate photographer based in Central Minnesota. I’m drawn to real moments and natural light — the soft glow of golden hour, quiet in-between glances, and the laughter that happens when no one’s posing for the camera.

I’m married to a farmer, and together we’re beginning to build a homestead. Life here moves at a slower pace — filled with gardening, muddy boots, and raising our son. That simplicity shapes how I photograph: honest, calm, and full of heart. More than anything, I want people to feel something when they look at my photos — warmth, nostalgia, and the beauty of real connection.

a closer look at

Sipping chartreuse and green tea while looking at the most perfect white subway tile and hand painted signs. Driving through the mountains to Portland reminiscing about the best memories back home. Cozy sweaters, vintage demin, and Pabst while telling one of a kind love stories. The trials and tribulations of love, joy, and happiness. Lastly, champagne brunch and avocado toast while surrounded by the finest exposed brick, dreamcatchers, and maps to our souls. Dreamcatchers, macrame and 100 Days of Summer. Anthropologie trips and walks on the beach, love letters and secret admirers. Fall breeze, flannels, and hot cocoa. Whales and dinosaurs and handmade crafts. Salvage denim, antique leather bags, and the first time we watched Moonrise Kingdom.

The slow hum of traffic and the cool breeze that signify the joy of a new day.
